  • Icare ic100 Tonometer

Icare® ic100 is the professional’s choice.  The device requires no drops, air or specialized skills for use.  The Icare® ic100 uses patented rebound technology to measure intraocular pressure. Its light-weight probe makes momentary contact with the cornea.  Icare’s proprietary algorithm coupled with state-of-the art software allows the device to evaluate deceleration, contact time and other motion parameters of the probe when it touches the cornea.  The new premium design and user interface brings measuring intraocular pressure to a higher level.

  • Zeiss VISUPLAN 500 Non-Contact Tonometer

The measurement of intraocular pressure is part of every professional glaucoma screening. The VISUPLAN® 500 from ZEISS makes this examination very easy and, complementing the Goldmann tonometry, does not require contact or anesthesia. The measurement is made with a soft puff of air and can be administered by your practice team.

    Intuitive Operation

The measurement process runs automatically. You start directly via the touchscreen and choose from single or multiple measurements. You also have the option of initiating a test puff to prepare your patients for the examination. The results appear directly on the monitor. Alternatively, you can print out the results with the integrated thermal printer, or export via the serial interface.

  • Zeiss Tonometer AT 020

The AT 020 and AT 030 Applanation Tonometers from Carl Zeiss allow precise measurement of intraocular pressure. Depending on your preference, you can attach an upright tonometer with an working position over the slit lamp swivel joint or mount a suspended tonometer on the stereomicroscope.

They were designed on the principle introduced by Professor Goldmann. This principle represents the gold standard in tonometry. Adapters allow the tonometers to be mounted to different slit lamps. Naturally, even with a mounted applanation tonometer, you still have the possibility for later slit lamp extensions.
